- Click “Start” in the lower-left corner of the screen, then choose “Control Panel.”
- Select “Uninstall a program” under the “Programs” category.
- Scroll to the “Quickbooks” option in the center of the screen, then click on it once to select it.
- Click “Uninstall/Change” on the blue bar at the top of the window.
- Click “Next” at the bottom of the installation window.
- Select “Repair,” then click the “Next” button.
- Click “Repair,” then choose “Ignore” if Windows indicates that the necessary files are currently being used.
- Restart your computer when prompted.
- Launch Quickbooks.
- Click “Install Now” in the pop-up window indicating that “Quickbooks has recently downloaded an update.”
- Close every program that is running in the background using Task Manager.
- Now, click on the Windows start button on the bottom-left corner of your screen and select settings, and then click on Control Panel.
- Click on Add/Remove Programs.
- Choose the version of QB you are updating, and then select the Change/Remove option.
- Select Next in the first QuickBooks Installation window.
- Make sure that Repair is selected, tap on Next, and then click on Repair.
- Go to C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks or search for the file QBW32.exe in the Windows file explorer.
- Right-click on the file and then select Properties.
- Click on Digital Signature option and make sure that Intuit, Inc. is selected in the signature list.
- Now, go to Details > Digital Signature Details and then click on View Certificate.
- Click on Install Certificate.
- Keep clicking on Next until you get the Finish option on your screen.
- Click on Finish and restart your computer.
- Try to download the update again.
- Choose Internet Explorer as the default browser.
- Ensure that your workstation date and time is correct.
- Check the Cipher Strength.
- Update Settings by choosing Tools and then Internet Options.
- Go to Edit > Preferences.
- Choose Sales & Customers from the left menu.
- Select the Company Preferences tab.
- Click on the Enable Collections Centre to turn on.
- Click OK.
- Go to Customers and then click Customer Centre.
- Select Collections Centre.
- Click on either Overdue or Almost Overdue tab.
- Then, click on Select and Send Email link.
- Choose the invoices you want to send.
- You will need to change your messages a little before sending it.
- The invoices will be attached to the email as a PDF file.
- Click on the Send button to send the email to your customer with all the invoices.
